New truck time

We've been in the 2006 Peterbilt since October and covered over 100,000 miles in that time, but one of the more modern Freightliners came vacant recently so I asked the boss if we could have it as it has more room than the Pete.
Returned from our last run down to South Carolina and went out to Wynndel again to pre-load lumber for after the weekend which is going to Knoxville TN.

All pictures on this post taken by Cath.

Edit: Another reason to change trucks is so that Chris Arbon can spot us easier!

Hi Steve, my encounter with them was 3 years ago, they may have changed. My advice (which i have given to loads of people) is to contact drivers who are currently working for them, as there is less negative info about them lately so you might assume that the newer drivers love it there.

The company I work for may have vacancies depending on your circumstances, try contact John Stewart at Watt and Stewart Commodities.

Hi Mick & kath,
Just been looking at the blog and thought that you had a Firefighter on top of the trailer!
Mick looks very fetching in his hi-vis striped work wear but it is a bit of a change from what I was used to-shorts and sandals!
You are obviously not back at Moulin Fort,we did not get there either as we decided on Italy instead. It is also ironic that having followed the Tour De France last year Bradley Wiggins goes and wins it this year!
Hope that all is going as well as it appears and we will try to look at you posts a bit more frequently.

Hi Alan and Jean, thanks for the comment, we have been in shorts and sandals since May, but there is some H&S in Canada, of the more sensible type, so I was happy to don the gear for loading. Hope you have a great time in Italy, we were offered something else in France, but will probably stay here a while longer as it's a good company.
Take it easy you two,
